aka. all the songs I’ve loved in 2016

I like to collect all the songs I loved and listened to in the year and make a playlist out of it. Below are some songs that have bookmarked a moment in 2016. If you’re interested, here is last year’s playlist.

Let me know if you have discovered any new tunes on here or please share about a song that has bookmarked a moment in your 2016! I’d love to hear it!

  1. Pieces – PLGRMS: I saw these guys support Oh Wonder in January. I’m telling you they do a great Pumped Up Kids cover.
  2. Back to Your Love – Night Riots: When I listen to this it reminds me of Autumn (which was when I added it to my playlist). Kind of sounds like Two Door Cinema Club- I jammed them constantly back in Autumn 2012)
  3. Summer – Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Blue Summer – The Gulls, A&J: Living room chilling in Melbourne
  4. If I Believe You – The 1975: That tune I played on that sunny spring afternoon
  5. 10,000 Emerald Pools – BØRNS: Seed change room- more here.
  6. Strong – London Grammar: I was at Falls Festival (more on that in a few posts time) and the crowd just sang the song back- my heart was full and filled with warmth.
