Here’s what’s on my face. Using all the products I love.

I’m doing this thing where I don’t wash my face with cleanser in the morning. All I do is go in with a muslin cloth with warm water and do a swipe down.

I then dry my face and use Avène Hydrance Optimale Rehydrating serum along with Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion. Sometimes I skip the Avène -usually in the summer when my skin is not dried out by the heating. However in winter, I will pair these two together and use it day and night. These two are made for each other (at least on my face). Whenever I don’t use it I experience dry flaky cheeks. To fix it, I slap both of these on and from my experience within 48 hours my cheeks a smooth again. I also pop on Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on my lips to begin rehydrating them.

As the years go by I enjoy wearing less makeup. Mainly it’s because I don’t have time in the morning (or I don’t make time for it the morning).

I use Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer and mix together Porcelain and Nude for a shade that matches my skin. I paint my forehead twice, under my eyes, around my nose and my chin. I skip my cheeks and the bridge of my nose because violette_fr said so and I tried it out it looks great. Really.

I then follow Lisa Eldridge’s technique and spot conceal with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-3. Under my eyes I mix the leftover tinted moisturizer, a bit of Secret Camouflage and RMS Un-Cover Up in shade 11 and pat underneath my eyes. If I really need a ‘omph’ to brighten up my eyes then I’ll add Clinique Airbrush Concealer in Neutral Fair to the inner corners. I finish my base by patting on all the places I’ve concealed with Laura Mercier Pressed Setting Powder.

I fill in the gaps with Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Ash and set it down with Australis Extender Lash & Brow.

Usually this is the end.

My sometimes step depends on the weather (hello 33 degrees in December!) and how long my face needs to stay put. When this happens I will spray down my face with Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray– to really lock it in.

On rare occasions- when I decide that I want to be a little extra I will add on mascara.

I don’t usually curl my lashes or use mascara. I find it incredibly hard to wash it off at the end of the night. So on the rare occasion, I will curl my lashes with a teaspoon and coat my lashes with Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof Mascara. I also add a bit of Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base on my lids to prevent any possibilities of an oily eyelid making contact with the lashes.

Okay, now we’re done.
