All the cult beauty products that everyone had loved and now I’m loving.
For the Hair
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dry Spun Finish
This product gives you that volume you need in your fringe to keep it from flopping down. It keeps the swoop in your bangs when you add it to your roots. I’ll usually curl my fringe back away from my face. Then I would spray this product onto the roots of my fringe then tease my hair to enhance volume and to stop the flopping. It has definitely been my favourite product to use when I had to tame my short fringe early this year.
SachaJuan Ocean Mist
I’ve been using this as my hairspray. Mainly because it doesn’t have the crunch of hairspray and it smells better than my current hairspray. And of course it holds my waves and curls in my hair until the end of time.
For the Skin
Sunday Riley Good Genes & Sunday Riley Luna
I had the biggest pimple on my chin a few weeks ago. It was one of those deep ones that nest in your skin for a week (unless you pop it or prod it then it stays for a long vacation). My one stayed for the longest vacation. But it is slowly fading away. I have been using this for a week and there is a noticeable fading happening! The pimple left a deep brown bruised coloured scar and it has faded down to a light brown scar. I don’t know which of the two products are working its magic. One has lactic acid, the other has retinol. They are both doing something good here.
Both these products are rather expensive and I audibly sighed and I’m pretty sure my eyes popped out when the lady at Mecca showed me this product. However, good news! Since it’s holiday season Sunday Riley have little travel size duos. And thats what I got and so should you if the thought of spending AUD$154 on each individual product makes your eyes water.
For Perfecting the Skin
Estee Lauder Double Wear
So you’ve probably have heard of all the reviews on this foundation. So here is my little say on it: Get on it and buy it. I bought this foundation to cover up the above pimple when it was angry and red. It was pigmented enough to cover up the initial redness. But most of all it stayed on my face. I trialled this product at my work Christmas party. Stayed on all night. I find it best applied with a sponge so it’s sheered out a bit.
It Cosmetics CC Cream
This is the glowy tinted moisturiser that you’ve probably also heard about. It’s incredibly hydrating. Buildable to full coverage if you prefer that. I really love how hydrating it is. I also found it best applied with a sponge.
