I spent a lot of my time in Hong Kong with my family. I pretty much visited the same stores and restaurants. The below three are my favourite meals that I had in Hong Kong. For some reason, they are all based around the Causeway Bay / Wai Chai neighbourhood. I guess it gives you a good excuse to visit them all in one day.

Cafe: Lady M New York

Neighbourhood: Causeway Bay

Address: Kiosk G, 3rd Floor, Times Square, 1 Matheson Street, Causeway Bay. Check their website for other locations.

Home to the most expensive but delicious crepe cakes I’ve ever eaten. I shared with my sister and brother-in-law the Earl Grey Millie Crepe and the Green Tea Millie Crepe. It was delicious, and it was our breakfast. Was it worth it? Yes.

Lunch: Dim Dim Sum

Neighbourhood: Wai Chai

Address: 7 Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai.

The day we had Lady M for breakfast, we also had Dim Dim Sum for lunch. Between the three of us, we ordered around 6 to 7 dishes and each spent around $14 AUD. It was cheap, delicious eats! I enjoyed eating everything, especially the Har Gow and the Vegetarian Dumpling. The texture of the dumpling dough was so smooth and silky. Nothing I’ve ever tasted in Australia. Definitely worth the visit.

Smoothie Bar: Supabowl

Neighbourhood: Wai Chai

Address: Shop A1, 4 Swatow Street, Wan Chai.

I was craving for a fresh veggie smoothie. It was day four of my trip. I ate a lot of junk. It was time to give my body something healthy.

Google recommended me Supabowl.

I am so glad it did! Supabowl is a small little shop that specialises in acai bowls. Everything is made fresh on the spot. The bowls are topped off with fresh fruit, various seeds, oats and nuts. If you like, a generous squiggle of nut butter or honey of your choice. I had the Signature Powerbowl topped with almond butter. Ugh, it was so refreshing!
